Ardent SMS includes purpose-built AI features trained or tuned for Ghanaian schools. Each feature is off by default and must be explicitly enabled for your school by an administrator.

Privacy and Data Handling
We take student privacy and data security seriously. Ardent SMS follows strict anonymization protocols before any data interacts with large language models.
No personally identifiable information (PII) is sent to external AI providers. Before any content is processed, Ardent SMS automatically strips student names, phone numbers, national IDs, residential addresses, and other personal identifiers. The AI engine only ever sees fully anonymized contextual data.
This privacy-first approach applies to:
- Lesson Plan Generation: Only the subject topic and curriculum standards are processed.
- Timetable Optimization: Only anonymized constraint sets (e.g., "Teacher A," "Room B") are analyzed.
- Chatbot Interactions: Answers are generated using internal data references, but sensitive PII is never sent verbatim to the model for reasoning.
Ghana Education Service (GES) Alignment
Unlike generic AI tools, Ardent's AI is specifically tuned for the Ghana Education Service Standards-Based Curriculum.
- Indicator Mapping: Generated lesson plans automatically reference relevant GES indicator codes.
- Local Context: Examples and resources suggested by the AI are realistic for Ghanaian classroom environments.
